Backup extends the Veeam Backup & Replication<\/strong> suite installed in a company's own service environment with cloud storage. The cloud storage provided by the service can also be used to back up individual physical or virtual servers using the Veeam Agent<\/strong> software. The cloud storage acts as a so-called offsite backup, providing protection against possible equipment failures, theft and loss of local backups (for example, fire). Many Finnish companies use the Microsoft 365<\/strong> service. The service itself only offers a recycle bin and version history for data recovery, with a limited recovery window.
